Story:
- Wilbur, who is Goofy's pet grasshopper, go
on a fishing expedition. The short centers on
Wilbur's Goofy-like capacity for getting into
dangerous situations. The short goes on, we see
Goofy rocking with laughter at his complicated,
hopeless attempts at trying to rescue Wilbur , but
in scene he is moist-eyed as he realizes the
apparent loss of his friend when Wilbur is swallowed
by a frog. This frog is then swallowed by a stork,
which results in Goofy thinking he is a definite
goner. Then we see Goofy's imagination running
wild with the thought of the little grasshopper
walking up to the pearly gates. But then, Wilbur
pops out of an egg in the stork's nest, and the
two chums are reunited.
